The Short Version

Pokato doesn't own your data. All of your account information, transactions, and customer details are stored by Stripe — not us. We only store what's needed to connect you to your Stripe account and provide support.

Information We Collect

We collect and store the following information:

• Email address — for account identification and support
• Stripe Account ID — to connect you to your Stripe account
• Crash and error data — via Sentry, to fix bugs and improve the app
• Usage analytics — via Posthog and Google Analytics, to understand how the app is used

What We Don't Store

The following data is never stored on our servers:

• Credit card numbers
• Customer payment information
• Bank account numbers
• Transaction histories
• Customer personal information

All payment data lives exclusively on Stripe's PCI-compliant servers. We never see or have access to sensitive payment information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Connect you to your Stripe account
• Provide customer support
• Fix bugs and crashes
• Improve the app experience
• Send important service updates (not marketing)

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted database via Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

• Sentry — error tracking
• PostHog — analytics
• Google Analytics — analytics

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — request a copy of the personal information we hold
• Delete your data — request deletion of your personal information
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. When you request deletion, we obfuscate your name, email, and device identifiers from our systems.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pokato.

Fees

Pokato don't charge any fee for using the app but Stripe's processing fee is applicable for using this app.
